We are saddened.
We are sickened.
We are seething.

This morning, Border Patrol Agents murdered a protester in Minneapolis. It was daylight. It was in the middle of a cleared street. It was unprovoked. It was senseless. This is Today's America. It must end.

Alex Pretti was a 37 year old ICU nurse in Minneapolis. He was protesting in the street. He was standing up for American rights. He was witnessing and documenting the atrocities of ICE Agents. And for that, they fired 9 bullets and murdered a man who had already been peppersprayed and tackled to the ground. He was a VA ICU Nurse and scientific researcher. He was a gentle and compassionate man, who cared deeply for others, and was upset by the rampage of ICE violence across the country. He was described by numerous friends and peers as a good person. Moreover, he was a living human. Shot dead in the street.

Already cities across the nation are standing up for Alex and for the senseless killing and terrorization that ICE Agents are inflicting every day. Denver has held several protests already, with more to come tomorrow. We will keep yelling. We will keep marching. We will keep showing up. We must continue documenting these crimes and caring for eachother through these despicable and heartbreaking times.
