Education
Prevention starts with knowledge. PULSE educates our volunteers and members of the community about how to stay safe at protests and respond to emergencies.
New Street Medic Training
PULSE trains new Street Medics quarterly during an intensive 20-25 hour class to improve responsiveness and identification of medical emergencies.
We've developed our own Street Medic Textbook with help from other Street Medics, Paramedics, EMTs and Physicians to educate new volunteers and the public about how to perform protest medicine. Check it out!
Marshal Training
We are currently building out an intensive marshal training that focuses on de-escalation, participant autonomy, safety, communication, and basic first aid.
Continuing Education
Focused seminars and hands-on training are open to current street medics and the public on a space-available basis. These classes range from CPR to radio communication fundamentals.
